~This is saying that even though they are not from the same side or team, like a softball game, where even though they are not from the same team they are showing character. As in they will do what they possibly can to help her achieve her win of  homerun. Where else no one else expected for that to happen, the opposing team to help them since her own teammates weren't allowed to touch her. Two girls from the other team carried the girl around making her left foot touch the base, until they reached the home base. Once they reach the base and the two girls from the other team saw the crowd, them expecting for there to be cheers and people yelling but they tons a faces of mixed emotions, they were crying and cheering, it was a happy crowd.
