This is saying that when people are doing wrong just to get something good out of it you don't have to do it as well. Followings peoples wrong footsteps can get you in trouble, you might fell guilty or the consequence may result in something you wouldn't expect and would be hard to get into college you like, because cheating will go into the your records and they won't like a cheater in their college.

People wouldn't like to be around cheaters who want to get thing done and get a good grade, but without putting in the effort in doing good. Those people who cheat are putting their education at risk, losing everything just for not studying the material needed.
